Create your Margin account and set up your workspace.

Create Your Account

  1. Go to marginfordata.com/auth/signup
  2. Sign up with your email address and choose a password
  3. Verify your email by clicking the confirmation link

That's it—you're in.

Set Up Your Profile

After signing in, head to Settings to customize your profile:

  • Display name – How you appear on shared work
  • Username – Your unique handle for public URLs (e.g., /@your-username)
  • Avatar – Upload a profile picture
  • Bio – Short description for your public profile
  • Links – Add your website, Twitter, or GitHub
Your username powers your public profile URL at marginfordata.com/@username. Choose something memorable.

Your Workspace

Every Margin account includes a personal workspace where your notebooks, briefs, and datasets live. When you sign in, you'll land on the Workspace overview dashboard.

From here you can:

  • View recent notebooks
  • See your public work
  • Navigate to notebooks, briefs, or datasets
